Maryland Wear and Carry Renewal

Course Overview: The class will take place at American Legion POST 77, 102 Glenwood Ave, Easton, MD 21601.

Following the classroom session, we will proceed to the range.

Range Location: Schraders Outdoors Range, 16090 Oakland Road, Henderson, MD 21640

Maryland Renewal Wear and Carry Permit: This is an 8-hour course mandated by the Maryland State Police. It covers Pistol Knowledge, Safe Gun Handling, State Firearm Law, Legal and Civil Aspects of Concealed Carry, the Maryland Wear and Carry Application Process, Home Firearm Safety, Handgun Mechanisms and Operation, and includes a Qualification Test to demonstrate Gun Safety and Proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy (100 rounds).

Course Objectives: This course will address defensive pistol use, relevant laws, and weapons storage.
