About the Event
Course Breakdown: The class will be conducted at American Legion POST 77, 102 Glenwood Ave, Easton, MD 21601.
Participants will travel to the RANGE following the classroom session.
Range Location: Schraders Outdoors Range, 16090 Oakland Road, Henderson, MD 21640
Maryland Wear and Carry Permit: This 16-hour course, required by the Maryland State Police, covers Pistol Knowledge, Safe Gun Handling, State Firearm Law, Legal & Civil Aspects of Concealed Carry, the Maryland Wear & Carry Application Process, Home Firearm Safety, Handgun Mechanisms and Operation, and includes a Qualification Test to demonstrate Gun Safety and Proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy (100 rounds).
Course Objectives: The course will address defensive pistol use, legal regulations, and weapons storage.
